A market for sure! Most 2dr rock sliders are now more expensive than the 4dr sliders. I had to source a set off a rubicon and chop them to fit my 4dr.

I started with a 20' stick of 2"x2" .250 wall, cut the connectors and main lower bars from that. That used most of the 20' stick with a few feet left over. The upper tubes are ea 60" long 1 3/4" .120 wall dom. Then all of the in between pieces were cut from a 10' piece of 4" 3/16 thick bar stock. Oh, and the gussets on the bottom of the connectors are leftover cuts from the angled end plates. I think the actual cost of metal is around $300.
Then add probably $20 for welding components, and another $20 in sanding pads and cut-off wheels.

Sweet! Russellville is a great town. If it didn't make the drive to/for our children so long to/from Austin/College Station, TX, we would seriously look at retiring in Arkansas in a couple of years for a variety of reasons. A great, beautiful, underrated state.
