While I am mostly focused on offshore sailing, this is an overview of our recent 59 day 9,000 mile Overland Camping Trip in our much loved Jeep Wrangler. I wouldn't normally post anything about sailing here but the Jeep expedition part seemed to resonate with some Jeep subscribers. So, I thought the Jeep community might find it interesting too.

Wow! That was a great video and a wonderful vacation. In my younger days I visited quite a few of those places. Seeing it again in your video brought back some good memories.

Thank you for sharing.

Great video and amazing adventures. The wife and I have similar plans. I have heard the two best ways to get divorced is build a house together or get a two-person kayak!! I have a two-person kayak, but have never gone with the wife. We built a house together and survived that.

Thanks. It was a whole lot of fun. We have done half dozen of these long overland expeditions but this was the longest so far. And the Jeep was just great. Absolutely reliable. Have had it five years now and it's probably the most fun vehicle I have ever owned. There is a whole world of adventure out there that it can manage easily. While it may be small and lack some conveniences a lot of people seem to want these days I think the fact it is so maneuverable and requires we take just just what we need and not everything we want is a blessing. It yields a cleaner more focused and authentic experience.
