I have ran a dash cam for years, I currently run a Wolfbox G900 Dash cam it has a front and rear camera.

Yesterday out driving a caught a guy pulling a wheelie from a stop light, throwing his female passenger off the back and crashing. Neither were hurt fortunately. Just a wow moment. The thing about a dash cam is they are recording all the time while driving and they do capture funny, crazy or serious stuff at times. Mostly boring stuff, but there is an occasional on worth showing. That is what this thread is about.

Truly the face of instant regret... but from what I could see in the rearview mirror, the dumbass just bounced off and kept flying. No damage done.

This happened yesterday morning. A big piece of metal sheeting flew off a truck and almost took out the red car. I'm just lucky they didn't swerve into my lane. As I passed that car after the incident the driver was talking on their cell phone which could have made the whole situation way worse.

I guess I should also be thankful it didn't hit me windshield and slice me in half. Fun times driving on LA freeways.

One of the all time rarest dashcam clips I've seen. It ended up being crucial to the investigation into the cause of the accident, which was determined to be a cargo shift.

In my opinion dash cams are very important these days. Car manufacturers should include factory dash cams.

That's why I always wear boots on the trail. That and I hate dirt in my sandals.

how about a picture from the dash cam?
You can see I had a green light a driver from the left turn lane did not stop and turned in front of me. I had to brake hard to miss the driver.

I probably have hours of stupidity captured on my bicycle "dashcam". I need to get one in the Jeep, would have been great for the hit and run I witnessed a while back and couldn't chase down (not willing to be that reckless). Some good stuff still stored on my van, but I'm not good with technology so I haven't looked yet

From my perspective I was watching @Inkhero in my side-view mirror. He suddenly disappeared and was replaced by a cloud of dust. Looked like a B-movie special effect.

I agree with others that a dashcam is a necessity. Too many idiots on the road. Case in point - this person tried running me off the road (dashcam footage from my sportscar). No reason. Just an idiot.
