Ever since the spy photos of the 2018 JL Wrangler with camouflaged door handles, there has been much speculation about what secrets are hiding underneath.
Recently, the JLU was spotted with an exposed door handle showing that it had been redesigned, so we dug deeper…
We have now verified that the 2018 JL Wrangler will be available with Remote Proximity Keyless Entry.
This means that there will be an option to lock/unlock the doors of the JL/JLU by touching the door handle as long as the key fob is close by.
The Remote Proximity Keyless Entry feature will also include:
- Push button start (New for JL)
- Remote Keyless Entry (already on JK)
- Sentry Key Theft Deterrent System (already on JK)
