It’s been a long road for Jeep fans interested in the upcoming 2018 Jeep Wrangler Sky One-Touch Power Soft Top, with uncertain ordering/production dates and delays — but the latest dealership info may be about to put all that to an end.
Jeep dealerships were just notified that availability of the black power soft top is due for the “NEXT ALLOCATION.” For the record the next allocation date is this Tuesday, May 8, so if this announcement holds true we’ll soon be seeing the first power-top Jeep Wrangler in dealerships soon, which lines up with separate rumors of power top orders beginning today.
One thing of special note — dealer screens now show power top allocations for both the 2- and 4-door models. Treat this one with healthy skepticism since FCA has only confirmed the Sky One-Touch top for the 4-door JL Unlimited up until now, but we’re certainly not going to complain if availability is expanded to cover all models.
