The JL Wrangler comes with more refinement than any previous Jeep Wrangler before it, including the plushest interior yet. To some owners however, to hell with plush and refined — it’s function over form or comfort!
That’s what these owners have done in stripping out their interiors and spray lining the entire floor and door jams on their JL’s with Rhino, Kevlar, Raptor or LineX spray. The spray lining will help prevent chipping, rusting, corrosion while providing sound deadening for the interior. It also gives the interior a tougher look and makes the interior easier to wash.
Unlike previous Wranglers, engineers made this an easy task for the JL by designing its carpeting to be easily removed (simply remove from mounting pegs). Check out these various JL spray lining projects so far.
