Jeep Wrangler JL Rubitrux MOAB 392 Wrangler reservations my25-jeep-moab-392-hero-main-des

Here’s what we know about the first drop of 12 from Jeep!

With the beloved 392 HEMI V8, the 2026 MOAB Jeep Wrangler starts off strong with 470 horsepower and a whopping 470lb-ft of torque. This build will include black Nappa leather trimmed seats with ofcourse, a MOAB shifter medallion. The machine faced black beadlock wheels offer a subtle look so the main focus is on the body, which includes new decals, a swing gate plaque and a gray and black “trail rated” badge with a 392 hood badge to match. All of this starting at $81,990, which is already cheaper than the standard 392 Wrangler. The next drop hints at being named after something and being nostalgic, this wont drop until 12.12.25 which leaves plenty of time to guess the theme.

Each drop will consist of it’s own duck design, for example, the MOAB 392’s duck design is a topical desert taken from the MOAB landscape. Each duck design is a hint to the next drop.

What edition are you waiting for?🤩

I am looking forward to seeing if this one is similar to the Commando they announced yesterday

That's a really good guess! The next duck looks like a retro design, maybe like the YJ islander?

They should Jack the price up just a bit higher, then those of us that passed out when we saw the price wouldn't be so humiliated. If you have nearly $100k for a JEEP, I AM IN NEED TO BE ADOPTED BY YOU.

my local dealers are saying they can't take reservations. They don't even have the build page available to them yet. Im tempted to go with one of these dealers on this site offering 7k-8k off but there is a lot of uncertainty.

The one Duck could be the postal Jeep or better yet, the Hurst Jeepster!

I would definitely want more information about the Moab 392 before considering reserving one. The information I have seen so far is pretty worthless. I could care less if it has a Moab placard on the tailgate. I also find it interesting that it does not have "Rubicon" on the hood. If it were a Rubicon, they could have placed a Moab emblem somewhere else. So, in line with the lower price I suspect it isn't a Rubicon. It probably lacks the electric lockers and sway bar disconnect that the Rubicon has, which would keep the price down.

There are a couple of other posts on this forum that share more details including build sheets. It appears to have the same lockers, axles, drivetrain, as the current 392 Rubicon. The biggest differences called out thus far are the unpainted hardtop and fenders... It seems like the main features of the Rubicon are all included.
