Hey guys,

We just released a new product that a lot of you 2-door JL owners have been asking for – the JL 2-Door Fire Extinguisher Mount.

This is the brother to our JL 4-door C-pillar fire extinguisher bracket, but it’s purpose-built to fit the 2-door interior geometry. The mount positions your extinguisher right in the C-pillar area behind the front seats – easy to reach, out of the way of cargo, and ready when you need it.

Key Details:
  • Designed specifically for the JL 2-door (2018+)
  • Installs using the existing roll cage bolts (same ones used for the soft top)
  • 100% no-drill installation
  • Rattle-free, secure positioning
  • Built from lightweight but strong 5052 aluminum
Important Note on Soft Top Fitment:
We have not yet confirmed compatibility with the JL 2-door soft top. Since it installs to the roll cage bolts that are used for the soft top, we’ll need some real-world confirmation. If anyone runs this mount with a soft top, we’d love to hear back so we can update the description for everyone.

As always, fire extinguisher is sold separately.

👉 Check it out here: JL 2-Door Fire Extinguisher Mount – American Adventure Lab

Would love to get your feedback and see pics of it installed on your rigs. If you’ve been looking for a secure and accessible fire extinguisher solution for your 2-door JL, this should do the trick!

Found another cool use for this mount! Most people store these 1LB propane tanks inside the vehicle already. They have been proven reliable enough for this. Mounting it here keeps it out of harms way vs. rattling inside a storage box somewhere. When attached to the billet quick-release bracket, it's easy enough to detach it and set it up outside for cooking.

I have the amazon mount that looks very similar, but mine doesn't have the metal bracket so its attached directly to the rollbar with collets so mine stands closer to the bar and I have a small 2 lbs extinguisher. When I use my soft-top, my extequisher hits the hard plastic part of the top and basibly prevents the "locking" of the top using the lockdown latch mecanism. I didn't have an issue with the top while driving, i just didn't lock it and it appeared low enough but something to watch for since your mount here looks like it sticks out even more than mine because you have the bracket.

the fact this mount appears to be sitting higher may prevent the soft-top contact issue, I'm sure oP will test it when they have a vehicle available for testing.

One thing to note is the amazon mounts are usually plastic, Op may be selling a metal one which would explain a difference in price.

Looks like the same one sold on Amazon with thats been painted with your logo, with a 4x price increase lmao
If you want to attach the bracket to your roll cage with hose clamps then you should buy the one on Amazon.

If you want it firmly mounted without damaging your Jeep we built a bracket for that.

Unfortunately, it cost money to buy lasers and press brakes and labor and insurance etc. etc..

I have the four door version. The Simple bracket portion that AAL manufactures is high quality. The rest is garbage. Horrible tolerances, wobbly, noisy.

Thanks! The earlier versions had looser tolerances on the billet bracket. On those early brackets, we have put a small piece of Gorilla tape on one side of the removable portion of the bracket and that has prevented any noises.

I hope someone can put it on a soft top, I'd like to see it, my JLR is a softie.

I appreciate the advice, thank you very much, will try that out.
