I finished up the install of an X-BULL XRS 13.5k winch tonight. I used the Warn solenoid kit to disconnect power when not in use. When winching in or out I get a slight rev of the engine after stopping. Is this normal because of the load on the battery? The Jeep was just idling while I tested. Assuming this is why they have the winch mode on the tazer to idle up?
TIA

Sounds like you have a non tow package optioned jeep. Yes tazer would control RPM during winching.

I assume you have at least a healthy H7 battery. A battery tester comes in handy, and you don't have to spend a lot to get a good ball park range tester.

Yes, thanks.
Correct, looks like the Sport has a 180 AMP alternator, Rubicon 220 AMP and tow package 240 AMP. I do have a fairly new H7-AGM battery. Looks like an alternator upgrade will be on the list...
