Man I just found out you can get new create axles with lockers for 5,000. Some of the pricing I've seen on them don't look so great now for takeoffs.

Yeah, I am looking for a set for my 2019 JLU and was trying to figure out why the high pricing and if there were differences. The why? Because people didn't do a google search and will pay for them I guess. Some axle sets include extras that are not in the crate axles though, so that I understand. Like front brakes which I believe are separate. Or steering upgrades and including the original driveshaft. But if it says Jeep on it, it must be worth gold! Then again, "a fool and his money are soon separated", so if people can create a false market and people are willing to pay it, that is a free market.
Cheapest I found online was moparpartssurplus under an Athens GA Dodge dealer. $1,964 delivered for the rear and $2,384 for the front (but I believe no brakes). But brand new to your door for $4,348. Less than $4,700 with tax. Heck, even JEGS has them for $5,300 delivered to your door including taxes. Ebay prices are just insane for used take off stuff.

You can also get the Jeep "Ultimate" axle upgrades, which have thicker tubes, delete the disconnect, tilted pumpkins, and skids, and all the goodies for extra coin. Probably well worth it, if you plan to keep your jeep for years.
