Wouxun KG-1000G GMRS Radio Mounts

I am getting ready to install a Wouxun KG-1000G GMRS radio. I'm looking for ideas to mount it from anyone here who might have one. I'm pretty sure I'm going to mount the faceplate remotely, but I'd still like to see mounts with the whole unit, as well as remote mounts. I want a good clean looking setup that functions well and comfortably while on the road or trail.

Any ideas are appreciated!

I'm going to do a CB and GMRS, I haven't decided which is going to be my main radio but im going to use a CB bar, I really wanted to do the AAL overhead molle setup but I'm tall and I never got a response back when I asked them how it would work with a taller person, so I got the CB bar

Yeah, I'm 6'5" tall and understand! I also like taking the top off and don't want any obstruction of the sun, but this face plate could potentially mount above the rear view mirror without any obstruction, if there is a place to anchor it without interfering with anything. I'm hoping someone has tried it. But the radio hasn't been on the market for long, so I may wind up being the guinea pig.

For the speaker, I went with the Audio Interrupt THE WIZ External Speaker Wizard – Audio Interrupt route. I found it to be cleaner and I don't have speakers laying under the back seat anymore.
