Got a call from my cousin. Supposedly someone jacked his 2019 JLU Sahara overnight. He lives near Airport and Bovaird in Brampton. Thieves used RF technology to start the Jeep and drive away with it. Police report filed but the cop was brutally honest. Supposedly thieves in Brampton have figured out how to bypass systems in a Jeep and make it difficult to be tracked. Apparently the JL Wrangler is one of the most stolen vehicles in the Peel Region. Maybe time to go back to traditional keys the way JK Wranglers and before had it? This also explains why car insurance is the highest in Brampton for all of Canada.
