Face it we all have either needed a jumpstart or run across someone who has needed one. This Wolfbox 4000A jumpstarter is a nice compact package that has a lot of nice features. I have used it to charge my phone and Ipad and both charge super fast and multiple charges are no problem. It has a 3way light feature ie constant on, SOS and strobe. Light automatically shuts itself off after 4 hours to prevent running the battery down. Anyway here is a little rundown on it. These run about $130 but they run sales often and are usually around $100 if I remember correctly. wolfbox.com So far have been really pleased with mine.
The jumpstarter comes in a nice portable case that can be easily carried if you want to use it for charging personal devices away from your vehicle.
every thing fits nice and snug in the case so no rattling.
The jumper cable handles are nice and solid with plenty of clamping force.
Wolfbox claims that as long as the charge is above 50% you are good to go. I found it charges up fast and has held a charge very well. when you hit the boost the green start lights up letting you know it is ready to start the vehicle.
Nice clear instructions on the back of the unit so no need to worry about losing the instruction book.
Has a nice flashlight that works well as a shop light as the light is soft enough but spread out. It also has a strobe and SOS mode. the battery lasts a long time and will automatically shut off after 4 hours of use so you don't accidentally run it dead if you forget to shut the light off. I monitored the the light for at least 14 hours of steady on and the battery was still 63%.
Cables just plug in one way no way to mess it up.
Just plug it in to the 120V wall socket to charge up.
Charges all your devices with no issue.
Fits perfect in the back of my JLUR.
