someone on here put a link to some diodes that enable one to trigger the backup lights via reverse or by switch...there are so many threads about the same thing, I'm having a difficult time finding not only the link, but the diagram that was put up as well: may or may not have been the same person.
the diodes that were linked were ones with 2 inputs & 1 outpur..or vice versa..in the $24 range?

being very analytical AND OCD, sometimes I tend to over-think things, so after reading through many many pages of lighting stuff, here is what I'm thinking with regards to adding the lights to my new bumper:
1) KC hilites g34 lights
2) road master dual in, single out diodes
3) wire to reverse lights AND aux. switch

with that in mind, as well as some thing I"ve read, I've compiled a lits of several questions for those who are better knowledgeable:
1) for the lights in the bumper, driving, fog or wide?
2) I'm going to assume that the wiring (simplified description) would be: wire from switch to one of the diode inputs, wire from existing backup lights to second input & wire from new bumper lights to the output of the diode?
3) if #2 above is correct, do I need to run dual wires from the switch, or will a single do; with the wire going to one light & a tap to the second?
4) I've read that some lights are overly "thirsty" for power & cause problems with certain lights: any idea if this would apply to these lights?
