Hey all,
Recently had a single tire replaced due to a fender bender. Originally was going to put it on spare and keep it there. Trying to diagnose a tire shake now and I think I found it. The only problem is my tires have about 15k on them. Is it safe to put a single new tire on? Would the front or rear be better?

At 15k I think your idea to put it on the spare makes sense. Now you do 4 tire rotations. The tire shake is a separate issue that sounds like a balance problem.

I think the tire might actually be flat spotted. I can see if move up and down while driving. Is it poi could run it on the front since JLs have the FAD?

Hmm. If you can see it moving then yeah maybe swap it out. Put the spare on the front. But then you'll want to get the flat spotted tire looked at. If it too needs to be replaced then put that new one on the front as well and the one it replaces as your spare. JMHO.
