When to expect VON or VIN after order placed?

Thank you for the replies. All my ordering was done over the phone, email or text. I put my $1000 deposit down over the phone on 1/6, and I was told the jeep was ordered that day. It’s been 1 week with no update from the dealer. I was wondering if the VON was issued pretty much immediately when the order is submitted to FCA. I thought it was. Just wanted to make sure I’m not wrong in expecting that the VON should be available by now.

My salesman sent the VON to me the next business day after the order was accepted. Received my VIN a couple weeks after that.
