I know the industry standard is to have these giant screens and a big screen looks nicer than a little screen but with all the issues, definitely makes me miss the days without it.

When safety should be number one priority, there are times that the only way to be safely driving is to pull over and turn the vehicle off. Often time I have to open the driver door to turn off the entertainment system who really reset.

Today I got an alert for a vehicle that was broken down on the side of the road. Not from my sync map application but from the Jeep's alert system. First I think that clearing the alert by having to touch the screen and taking your eyes off the road is pretty dumb. Secondly, after clearing the alert the audio in my Jeep no longer worked for my paired device and the only sound that worked was FM radio. Again the only fix is to pull over, turn off the Jeep and open the door to fully turn off the entertainment system.

In the past I've had moments where the screen completely froze up. Generally that happens when I'm using the GPS to get to some place I'm unfamiliar with in a sick twist of humor. I've had my phone refused to pair regardless if it's through physical connection or Bluetooth or loose connection mid-drive and refuse to reconnect.

I will also say that I have rented a Durango and had a Cherokee loaner for my 68c recall and I had similar issues.

I'm not sure of the frequency compared to everyone else but I have these issues probably once a month.

Yep. I intentionally got the most stripped down Jeep i could for those reasons. Not my daily driver though. Nice to step back to simpler times. Only glitch in the dumb display is an occasional lag in the volume when changing it using the knobs.

Mine has similar issues. I like to have a show or movie playing on my drive to work but it drops signal at least every other day. And goes to FM like yours, and the volume is much louder. I just cycle the power button on the volume knob a few times and keep selecting the phone instead of FM on the device menu then it will usually start working. I haven't had to stop the car and open the door, maybe give that a try. Mine is a 25 and definitely glitchy. My phone is like 3 years old though.
