I know there are a few topics on undercoating....but Im looking for some insight on this product specifically. Line-X which is a very reputable company offers this product as an add-on service through their retailers. its an oil-based undercoating that dries after 2-3 days. apparently its not a mess when you want to service your jeep and sand and such wont stick to it. It also comes with a 4 year warranty. for around $600 bux it seems like cheap insurance, but ive heard horror stories about undercoating jobs actually being more harmful than good.
I live on the east coast where the roads are salted to hell during the winter and im very close the beach and plan to spend a lot of time driving out with the family. I've never undercoated a vehicle before because I never planned to keep them long enough to care. However, im planning to keep my JLUR around for a while and would like to make sure it lasts.
any members here have experience with this product and do you recommend it?
