Is anyone using an OBDLink MX+ with a Tazer JL Mini installed, at the same time? I want to run some software such as DashCommand, on a tablet in my JL. ZAutomotive says they don't recommend the Tazer be connected, when reading live data, so they suggest losing the live features, and unplugging the Tazer. I bought the Tazer mainly for the ESS deactivation, so I don't want to disconnect it. Is anyone running these two devices at the same time? 2023 Jeep JL High Tide, 3.6L eTorque engine. Thanks

I've been reading a bit, and I'm thinking I could sell the Tazer, use a 12+8 cable and JScan if I need to change something, for example, add the LED tail lights I just installed, then when the changes are made, disconnect the 12+8, and plug back into the SGW with a SmartSTOPstart in line, to disable the ESS. I could then leave my OBDLink MX+ plugged in for live data, using DashCommand, or another app. How does this sound?

that was going to be my plan as well. And it's a good plan.

The reason I opted to go with both the JSCAN and Tazer is because I wanted to be able to set and forget some settings, i.e. tire size/gear ratio...and have all that info stay when the tazer was unmarried.

Initially I thought I only wanted the auto stop/start feature as well, but then I quickly realized I could use lockers in 4hi with the tazer too, so until I get enough funds to replace this god awful computer controlled locker, this works as a slight benefit and the elimination of the ridiculous beep to tell you, "Hey, you just left your car! I wanted to make sure you realized just got out of your car!"...so there's that too. :D

If I understand right, to use Jscan, you plug the sgw wires into the 12+8, and then the OBDLink MX+ into the 12+8 cable. When not using Jscan, and just reading live data for DashCommand, can the 12+8 be removed and the OBDLink MX+ plug into the OBDII port, and the factory cables plug back into the SGW?

Sounds like a solid plan.
