Yesterday I disconnected the battery for a few hours while trying to see if a previously stored error code related to ACC/FCW module would disappear. After reconnecting the battery and starting the engine, everything worked fine, but now AFTER turning the ignition off and then back on, the Uconnect screen remains completely off. When the engine is turned off, a "Jeep" logo briefly appears (maybe for a second) and then the screen turns off again.

If I disconnect the battery, wait 20 min, reconnect it and turn on the ignition (without starting the engine), the screen displays "Radio Locked. Please Start Vehicle" message):

After starting the engine, the screen works fine and there are no issues with any of the systems that use the screen - maps, climate control, rear and forward cameras, Android Auto, etc. However, once I turn the ignition off, the screen stops working and remains completely off (other than briefly flashing the Jeep logo as mentioned above when the engine is turned off again) perputually.

Here is what I tried so far (nothing worked):
  • Pulling fuse F97, F105 and F11 while also disconnecting the battery for 20 min.
  • Pulling fuse F97, F105 and F11 for 20 min WITHOUT disconnecting the battery.
  • Performing a Uconnect reset (pressing and holding volume and tuning knobs, letting go, turning the engine off, opening the door for 1+ min, waiting for 10+ min, etc.) after pulling fuses.
  • Driving normally for a few hours, turning the car on/off a few times in between.
  • Locking, the car, putting a key in the RF-blocked box for a few hours.
  • Waiting for 24 hours.
Pulling the three fuses or disconnecting the battery causes the system to-reinitialize and it displays the "Radio Locked. Please Start Vehicle" message again. Starting the engine makes the screen work normally. However, once the engine is off, the screen stops working again.

Everything else in the car works without issues.

There are NO error codes in the OBD (active or stored).

Does anyone know how to bring this thing back to life?
