I purchased a 2018 JL brand new, ive put about 8000 miles on it. I havent had any issues but this morning noticed the CEL was on. My OBD dongle shows U115F/B1BE7 codes. I can't find any information on this online. The ONLY thing I can think of is I removed the driver side front seat to put a seat cover on. Would unhooking the wiring cause that? I just checked and it's hooked up correctly

On the JK, some of the B1B7... or B1B8... codes were related to the front/driver-side seat weight sensors.

Hello. Did you ever get your U115F code figured out? My 2018 Rubicon is throwing the same code and I can't find any info anywhere. Did your Jeep continue to run for 5-10 seconds after you shut it off when you had this issue? Thanks.

Hi there, I had the same error U115F/B1BE7, together with the 'service stop/start' light and message.

Since I had just removed/ replaced the seats, I checked if the contacts were all securely fastened, and one of them was not. Once i plugged it back properly, the CELs and all messages disappeared.

Jeep Wrangler JL U115F/B1BE7 CEL Code 20200503_190444

Edit: this was on the driver side.

Anyone know of anything else that might trigger these? I have the codes and they can’t be cleared. I checked the connections beneath both front seats and they seem to be solid. Perplexed and annoyed; can’t use regular or intelligent cruise control and remote start immediately shuts the Jeep off after starting it.

If you've recently had those plugs undone, it's possible a contactor may have bent to the side when replugging.

Good idea. I’ll take them all apart and check.
