I had a wild Weekend, I finally got my Mojito green Wrangler Unlimited Sahara

It wasn't a smooth ride ( not literally)

I arrived at the dealer, and the sales guy was so excited and told me over 70 buyers were interested, and local dealers were calling to get the car transferred to them

Once we stat down to talk numbers,.....fast forward they gave me a price of 54k and my monthly on a lease was $690. at first I said ... I said Lease not finance, they said yes, that's lease. I was confused my sticker was $44,400 but on the contract $54500

They then told me it was my credit, I was like if its my credit how do you get a person with bad credit qualified for a 54k lease? 2 days later I call and ask to be explained why I was charged 54k instead of 44k, they said well this is business, everyone wants that car, we need to make money on it, I said the only reason this is the single mojito here is because I ordered it in February.

I was ask to come the next day, this was intense, I put the key on the table ans dais I do not want the car, there's no reason I should pay beyond stick for a car I ordered. , they com back and say what if we cut your payment from 690 to 402? I said no, its the price of that car that's an issue. They then say fine we will make it 44k and 402 a month, I said no, its the principle. They then say 322 a month 44k, I say no, in the end I got the wear and tear, 322 month and 43k.

What do you make of this turn out and story over all?

That your dealership are unscrupulous scumbags? At least they got it back where it was supposed to be in the first place. If that’s the price/terms you originally agreed to when you ordered that’s good. It took a lot to get them to honor the deal though. Good for you being willing to walk.

I'd feel obligated to write a 2-3 star detailed review over that one. Way too assholey to go unannounced to the public.

Happy it worked out for you.

Glad you got things fixed. This is a nightmare scenario. We order a vechical, wait an abnormally long time for it, hear very inconsistent information on why it's taking so long, then on the dealership end of the process when FCA has the chance to make it all right, they prey on the fact that the vechical is in high demand due to production delays. You would think this would be a teachable moment for them.

At the risk of sounding rude, who in their right mind waits untill a car they ordered is sitting on the lot to negotiate price? That has got to be one of the dumbest things I have ever heard.

Yes, the dealer is clearly a douche, but you sure didn't do yourself any favors in the beginning and made things much more difficult than they needed or should have been.

I wouldn't give the dealer any business in the future. No way I would trust them for anything after that. Find somewhere else to handle any service issues.

At the same point, no one should sign anything when the contract is $10k above the sticker.
