Trails in Brian Head, UT

Hi All,
I know this is a long shot but I’m taking a last minute trip to Brian Head this weekend and I’m not super familiar with the area. I’m mostly going up to take my rzr to a storage facility but was hoping to hit some trails with my Jeep while I’m there. Does anybody have any recommendations on trails that are stock friendly or can you point me in the direction of where to look for more information?

I did reach out to some local Jeep groups and there were a couple people who said they’ve been up there recently with stock jeeps and they said I wouldn’t have an issue on most trails. I’m heading up tomorrow afternoon and will update on Sunday or Monday.

So I just got back from driving around all morning and early afternoon. It looks like you have a more built trail ready Jeep so there will be tons more trails you might feel more comfortable going on. I had my girlfriend with me for the first time and she doesn’t have much experience Offroad so I didn’t want to push it much and make her nervous especially with a stock Jeep. I kinda just winged it because the map I grabbed wasn’t great. The overlook is a great view! There is a fire up here now so just be aware of that. I talked with forestry and they said as of now it’s only affecting some bike and ATV trails. There’s a trail called twisted forest which we spent a lot of time on since it breaks off into a bunch of different trails. Those are fairly easy and wasn’t much of a challenge but we still had a good time. Thunder mountain powersports has some other maps but since I’m only up here until tomorrow I’ll just continue to wing it.

Thanks for all of the information! I'll have to swing into Thunder Mountain Motorsports and see what they have to say. It looks like it's just down the street from where we are staying. They probably have the inside track on things. Twisted forest sounds fun. I like the harder trails but I also like the easy trails so I can look around at the scenery more. Thanks again!

No problem! One more thing. There’s a tiny gas station you’ll pass on the main road if you go up that road up the hill past all the houses eventually it will turn into dirt road and those trails are a little more difficult. I took my rzr up there last night to see what was up there but it’s plenty wide enough for a Jeep. We also saw some sheep and deer up there so that was pretty cool!
