I wanted to keep a total of gas (hybrid) miles driven and electric miles driven since the day I left the dealership. I was not resetting ‘Trip A’ so I had the totals until one day I realized that Trip A had reset. No one else has driven the Jeep so I may have reset it by mistake or it automatically reset.

In any case, my question is .. is there a way to see how many total gas miles and how many electric miles I’ve driven?

@BXFXJeep … thanks for the reply. There are few things that Jeep should do different with the instrument panel and this is one of them. Another is that the sped zone should be a selection avail on the instrument panel instead of having to go to the Nav screen on the center console.

The next question is … how do I know when the gas engine needs an oil change? In my mind if I have 5000 miles and 2000 are electric, I don’t need to change the oil yet. Any suggestions?

There is a remaining oil life screen available in the driver cluster. It’s one of the left/right options along with oil temperature, transmission temperature, and I think tire pressure. It’s a computer calculation based on oil performance and I assume engine hours.

I absolutely agree on both fronts. It’s insane there isn’t a dedicated total odometer for engine miles and engine hours, as hybrid and electric use will vary wildly between different use cases. Also, there should be an option to have the speed limit displayed immediate adjacent to the speedometer since, you know, you are probably checking the Speedo to ensure safe driving speeds to begin with.
