So I’ve got the Tazer Lite, programmed the tire pressure I want and the light is on despite the psi being high than programmed number. I’ve adjusted the tire pressure, raised/lower setting etc. Super frustrating but hoping there’s a quick fix! I don’t run a spare so I’m wondering if the system is looking for it? Any insight is really appreciated. If it’s the Tazer not working properly maybe there’s an update?

And yes, I run 22-23 rear and 24 front psi on my Toyo RT to get a good contact patch

Cannot run under 25 without an alarm, the 25 is hard coded into the JL and even Taser can’t change that so the two options are to live with the warning or pull all the TPMS sensors, there is one more option and you can do it thru the Tazer and that is turn the TPMS system off and you will get no warning messages but and the tire pressure display will be removed from the EVIC display

TPMS only monitors the tires in use. One silly observation...is it odd that the d/s rear also shows 24, but no warning?

@Andrew05LJR … you need gas soon. I know FL gets hot, and I love the hot weather, but 115? .

I noticed the same. Holy hell :whew:

And while off-topic, Andrew, did you notice that you took this pic just 1 mile past 1941 on the odo? :like:

Yea I just found that out from Joe. Defeats the whole purpose of buying this thing to be honest. Oh well

I was in the garage right after driving, once I get moving it goes down. I found that the temp does this a lot when first starting

It’s very doubtful you would run with pressure that low unless rock crawling, not sure what tires you are running but my TPMS alert is set to 30 so I won’t get the alarm until 25 which is fine as I run my pressure at 28 cold on the 315 KO2’s after doing a chalk test that’s where it liked the pressure

Did the chalk test, no higher than 23 in the rear to get full contact patch. 37x12.50 Toyo RTs. I have no spare in the rear but I do have hardtop. I really don’t know how some are getting 26-28psi on 37s but is what it is. Truly, it’s because I’m on stock wheels. They’re a bit to narrow for the 12.50s so my theory is the wheels are causing the tire to balloon the center of the tread. This is the only thing that makes sense. Fronts are perfect at 24/25 psi.

I did manage to get it to turn off by inflating to 25ps, driving then bringing down to 23 once they were cold. The system should allow me to go without a light.

Once I get new wheels I’m sure my issues will go away. My 05 LJR I ran 37x13.50 Cooper Pros load E and ran them like 20 psi. For the street. Won’t harm a thing

You can just turn off the tpms system but it’s kinda nice to see pressures, I ran mine at 28 cold and then 26 and full contact seemed the same
