If this has been said, please just point me to the thread.

I couldn't find it with a search.

Trying to get better has mileage, but not at the risk of safety or handling, how high have some people taken stock JL tires above the 35 psi recommended pressure?

Thanks.

Driving stability and ride comfort come WAY BEFORE MILEAGE(to me)-

My tires are set at 30 psi--never change

When I got mine off the dealership the tires were at 41 psi. I might have gotten somewhat better mileage, but I can’t confirm for sure. That was back in the summer, with hotter temperatures and thus lower drag due to decreased air density.

When you run with a lot higher pressure than what’s on the door if they are stock you are putting your safety at risk, basically the higher pressure puts you riding on the crown of the tire which means less contact on the road and also note the stock pressure indicated is based on the weight they use so if you are the only one riding around in the Jeep with no gear even that pressure is to high.

Your best bet is to chalk test the tires
