Hello fellow Jeepsters,
Long time reader, lurker and viewer here from Vegas!
Currently own 2 JLs! a 2dr and a Gladiator. Love them both equally but the 2dr topless ( soft-top) does tend to get more adventures lately.
I'm helping a friend sell his 2021 Sahara 4xe and wanted to get everyone's opinion on how much it would be worth. I've checked edmunds/nada/kbb/carvana and carmax. Carvana comes out on top with $24300 instant offer. BUT the catch is its not only loaded to the brim with options like Cold Weather Pkg, Limited Slip Diff, Tech Pkg, LED Pkg, painted hard top etc.. It also will come with a rooftop tent, awning, cooler, oven, built in drawers and racks, ladder, plus more extras for all of your camping and overlanding needs.
This is the reason I wanted to get you the Jeep communities opinion on how much something like this will go for. My friend knows how much he spent on all of this and and has enjoyed tons of adventures in it but comes at a time where he needs to sell it. Not looking to make profit but more like see the real world price of what ya'll think its worth. Worst case scenario is I'll help him remove all of the overland gear and just sell the Jeep to Carvana and sell the gear on FB Marketplace BUT thats very VERY last resort. Rather see this Jeep go to someone who will enjoy using it.

I agree. The discontinuation of the 4xe platform is going to drive its value lower and lower. Take the best offer you get in the next 90 days whatever it is.

Take the offer. Modifications at resale not only add zero value but more often then not subtract value over stock .

Lots of cool goodies but… it’s a 4xE. Not a big fan of any electrification but I recently have been keeping up with the soon to launch Ram REV 1500. I think the Ram will be a hit, it’s not a hybrid and pretty much checks off the boxes for those of us that like to hit the high country where supplies and fuel aren’t available or not very close. Maybe a similar setup in a Wrangler JLU Rubi could be coming?

Only place I can think of selling it INTACT would be an overlanding specific group. They’d see the value in everything. Someone wants an already built rig, there ya go. But if we’re looking to move it quicker than this year … might need to part her out.

I really appreciate all of the feedback and opinions! I've shown these replies to him and it looks like he is leaning on removing all of the accessories and selling the car then the goods. I will be helping him since the rooftop tent and rack will probably be a bit heavy.
