Interesting concept. I only see a JK application though.

It'll support 200lbs--but

It is "WOBBLY
and must be used with care--

Mine works fine with my JCR SLIDERS--MID SLOTTED PLATE !

This shot is just a POSE, I didn't have my SLIDERS installed yet, but the "STIRRUP" has worked fine for over 8 years

Very strong, but touchy-

interesting cheap alternative to expensive steps.
Lisa:

Please know that this post is somewhere between a cross at the intersection of humor and seriousness, and in NO way is meant disrespectfully to you.

I originally posted this as comical.

But if you are one of those people who likes a good "goof," even "self inflicted," let alone at relatively low cost, this satire will approach seriousness. Perhaps the rope needs replacement with steel rod so the steps won't bounce around when the rig is moving (assuming dragging them into the rig is not a reasonable option.)

Another idea. Ask Marc @Blkjak of Gibson leather works to make you some--not that it's part of his current product offerings, but everything he makes is 1st rate and I've discussed this very idea with him.

I would not get them, just surprised when I saw those because didn’t think that was a thing. guess it could work for some people with no budget for steps.

I have a stirrup step on my YJ. Wife has used it for almost 20yrs. She refused to use it for the first year. Thought it wouldn't work for one reason or another. The stirrup step is used constantly. Where I live rocks would rip off most steps. The stirrup step is very effective. Do recommend plenty of grab handles in the Jeep to assist the stirrup step.

I bet getting out is more difficult than getting in.

Lisa:

In your original post were you just pointing out a product--which is fine--or trying to meet a need you have?

If the latter, what was that need (e.g. getting in and out of a rig that's high for your height on a low budget)?:)

My wife will only use the STIRRUP getting in--just uses the SLIDER TO GET OUT--

EASYpEASY

I bought the STIRRUP 12 years ago as a GIMMICK/JOKE/PHOTO FUN--it works both ways
