Steering Box Removal (JLUR 2.0 Engine) Help

While installing the Synergy Track Bar brace, one of the steering box mounting bolts broke off in the steering box.

Has anyone removed the steering box yet and can give a quick run down on it?

There's a small amount of the bolt sticking out the back side and I've been trying to turn it the remainder of the way, but it's very slow going. Really dreading removing the box to drill the bolt out......

Do you have a Dremel or similar? If it's sticking out enough you can cut a slot in the end and use a flat screwdriver to turn it out. Also a hacksaw can be used to cut this slot, but that can be difficult going.

Also the diagrams show nuts on that inboard side but they seem to stick to the box then those bolts are removed. Can you put a wrench on the inboard nut to back it off?

Oh no, how did this bolt break off?
were you removing the bolt or putting it back on after the brace? where did it exactly break? Can you not fit or use an extractor?

Any update on this? any pics of where it broke off and how that exactly happened.
It may help out a fellow forum member in the future.
