Steel bumper / tow hook retaining ring alternative.

Any one have a cheat or alternative to the ring below. Basically appears to hold the tow hook bolts in place to make alignment during install easier. I’d like to get it in tomorrow (Sunday) morning so a dealer is out. Or is it not needed. TIA.

It's not "needed" . Simply only to aid in the hook staying in place when mounting the bumper. You could use a couple orings in place to hold them or nothing at all if you're able to keep them in place when installing the bumper.

Not needed. It will sit loose in the bumper until you tighten up the bolts. I had no issues when I swapped red and black hooks on a the own steel bumper.

Thanks to both. That was the easiest part of the swap. Kinda new to doing upgrades by myself but it went smoothly.
