"Starter Protection Mode"

You get this message when try to start. I got it twice so far. First time had to wait 30 seconds and she started. Second time no start at all. Hooked a charger and after a while had same message but had to wait 59 seconds and then she started.

Has anyone had to deal with this kind of nonsense. There is very little info with no conclusion of what may case it. I am suspecting the weak dual battery system.

There was another forum member who ran into this problem last year. They ended up having to take it to the dealer, who replaced the starter and solenoid
