I currently have the long version of the Spiderwebshade on my 2-door '22 Willys. The mesh top does an excellent job of protecting against much of the sun beating down on everyone. It's very tight and does not flap excessively when driving say over 50mph (and yes, I do have rear passengers frequently).
The one 'issue' I have is that the rollbars (even though they are now painted on JLs) just looks so bare and skinny and unfinished. The holes for the soft top brackets need to be covered in my opinion as well.
I'd love to cover the roll bars but the mesh top needs to have the screw/silver nubs exposed to work. You can see more clearly in the attached pics. Had thought of getting the cheapest roll bar cover that I could find and then cut some small holes so the silver nubs are exposed. Alternatively, I can ditch this mesh top (really don't want to) and get one that uses a the more common bungie like chord or velcro strap connection. Maybe something to extend the bungie chords with another smaller strap to wrap around the bars (but guessing they won't stay fixed and will move).
Any suggestions out there? Thanks much.
