This accident was less than a year after a multiple-fatality accident nearby where a male teenager in a BMW doing 80+ in a 35 mph zone plowed into three young girls on the sidewalk walking home from high school, killing two of them and severely injuring the third.

I blame part of this on parents buying too much car for their inexperienced little boy drivers. Thankfully everything available for me drive at that age was underpowered.

The dad will get into a legal trouble if he slaps his 17-year-old that did that crap. At some point we should draw a line, a line that will stop the government from interfering in a person's family matters.
