Reinstalling the factory soft top and it’s coming up short by about 1”1/2 inches to the windshield frame latches. SoftTop frame is straight. Bolts on the C pillar went in smoothly. Guide wheels are in the track. Only thing I’m noticing is the sunrider position seems hard to manipulate. Rear locks are unlocked.

To fend off forthcoming ball breaking, it was not shrunk in the washer or dryer. 😁

One thing I'm questioning is the position of the curved plate in relation to the nub in the pic. Both sides the plate is above the nub.

Got it to latch by removing the upper bolt on the c pillar mechanism. Gave it enough play to latch then applied downward pressure on the rear of the top to get the screw back in the c pillar.
New problem now.
driver side loose.

That’s a negative Ghost Rider…. The top should be even against the windshield on both sides.

Yeah. The heavier rain confirmed that. Starting over tomorrow. See if I can figure out what is off. Rearmost panel is tight. Forward panels are sloppy. I must have goofed something up.
