SOCAL Shut Up and Drive Thread!

Newish to the game (1 month) and have done John Bull, Gold Mountain and Holcomb along with a bunch of trips to Rowher Flatts. Looking for more people to off road with. Currently in a '24 JLU with a few bells and whistles. Radios, PowerTank and the necessities.

I also own Motorsport Exotica and Confidential Motorsports located in Burbank CA. Motorsport Exotica is a motorcycle race team and performance shop. Dyno facility, Ohlins master techs, retail showroom etc etc etc. Confidential Motorsports is a car/truck detail facility with paint correction, dry ice cleaning, PPF etc AND car/truck concierge indoor storage. We are also now doing 4x4 builds.

Long story short, we are getting into the off road scene and have been HEAVILY bitten by the bug. We are now dealers for all the major brands. Rugged Radios, Metalcloak, Fox, King, Method etc etc etc... So we are here for anyones needs. BUT the point of this post is I am looking for people to drive with.

I have almost every Sunday and Monday off and my girl and I are trying to do as many trails and camping trips as possible. SoCal, NorCal, and venturing East shortly.

Any Takers? Anyone want to meet up and drive a bit? Not looking to hang in a parking lot (i.e. random jeep meet) we are looking to get out on the trails and go!

I only get one weekend off a month and join in with runs when they happen on my weekend off but there’s around a dozen here who go out fairly regular.

Thanks... Ive been all over the Forums and the FB groups... Did a run with the SoCal Jeep guys... good times.. Just trying to meet more and more people as I know there are hundreds in my area that wheel.

Just spoke with the lady and decided we are going to leave tomorrow around 6... head to Rower Flatts, Camp Sat night, hit up the Boquet Reservoir for some fishing on sunday and move camp up to the other side of the flatts, and then head up to Sierra Pelona to hang out at the peak and camp sunday night into monday....

Welcome Jarred, looking forward to getting out on the trails with you one day. Both my wife and I drive Jeeps, we get out a few times a year as weather and work permit us to. I’m 10 minutes from Cleghorn for reference.

I'm always down for a run but things are about to get busy for me from mid July 12 -Aug 21. But once that is over things should get a lot better for availability.

Did a trail up in SB today, West Camino Cielo. Wasn't awful as it was a buddies first time in his Bronco and he didnt want any chance of pin striping etc.... Looking forward to getting back onto some more aggressive trails next weekend.
