Hi JL fam,
I just recently bought a 2021 high altitude with a Sky one touch power top. This is my second wrangler I previously owned a 2016 Sahara with a Hard top. I actually found it by accident as I was looking for a hard top. The truck was in great condition with low mileage so I took it over searching for weeks and weeks. I love the convenience of this top compared to the hassle of taking off the freedom panels and storing them not to mention no place to store the back end of the truck and worrying about random rain squalls when your couple hours into a trip. So this top seemed like a great purchase. I haven’t had any problems with mine as it is still under a year old. But after reading some of the threads on here it seems the design and technology is eerily similar to the Liberty and Fiat 500c that have had numerous issues with the top not functioning properly.
Does anyone on here have any insight as to the difference between the liberty and fiat sky one touch and the one on my Wrangler? Any owners who’ve had this feature from the 2018 models that are still working perfectly?
