I am back folks. My dealership has had my Skillet for 16 day and still no repair. The issue is the dash/shifter lights will not turn off. Eventually, the battery is drained. They claimed to have conducted several draw test/recharged the battery and nothing. As of today it is totally dead. Help anyone please.

Not an expert here but the ECM or body controllers send that enable signal out to the node or nodes through the CANBUS. I doubt there is a direct connection between a switch and the battery. The proof in that is leaving on my lights and they will be switched off later and even override the manual switch.

Good morning, I got my Skillet back on Wednesday. The actual issue was the stereo firm's installation caused the issue. There was a loose speaker and its wiring rubbed against the module behind it. It blew a 5amp fuse and the module was relocated. Problem solved. Also, the tech handled the speaker issued as well. Praises to the dealership, because they could have charged me for the work and not covered me under my warranty. Bill Bryan of Fruitland, Florida.

That was on odd problem for sure. Glad you got it fixed and dealership was a good sport about it.
Whenever I am faced with electrical or mechanical problems I always have used the what was the last thing that was worked on or touched technique for initial trouble shooting.

A friend of mine had his rear lights stop working on his car. He asked for my help to figure it out. Of course instantly we found a blown fuse and replacing it resulted in another blown fuse. My first question was what was the last thing worked on. He said nothing really, just installed a fire extinguisher. I said remove it and the hardware. He removed it. Put in another fuse and rear lights began working normally. He was surprised but I wasn't since he had used a 3 inch long screw that penetrated the wiring harness that ran under the car.

Wow, that stinks. You would think taking Skillet to a pro-installer, I would not have any issues. But, in the long run I got my Skillet in the garage and I am happy.

Hi family, that's correct I am back with an issue. The battery was replace last Saturday and on the eve of a JBOH trip to Texas, it is totally dead again. I pulled some fuses and nothing. Awaiting a tow in the morning. This stinks! Any ideas prior to talking to dealership.
