Seatback customization

Hi, what's the deal with the backs of the driver and passenger seats?
They're supposed to have some kind of special grid pattern on there for things to be attached to?
Is this a "standard" and I can find accessories that'll immediately work with it?... If so, what is it called so I can search?
... Or is this something invented for the JL in hopes that 3rd parties will create stuff for it?

It is standard on the Rubicon only.

In this video, the main vest is the analog for the seatback webbing, and the pouch is whatever accessory you would wish to attach to your seatback.

Thanks. Just what I was looking for. Now I can search for accessories. It seems "Molle" and "Tactical" go hand in hand. I have two children who will be sitting in the back, so I'll be looking for Tactical Snack Dispensers and Tactical Tablet Holders

Well now I know how to pronounce it, lets see if I can put it to good use. I know a first aid kit and tools, but what else? Extra nuts and bolts? Duct tape and bailing wire?

Just FYI for those who aren’t familiar with Molle straps, something like Blackhawk Speed clips or these multipurpose MOLLE clips or Web Dominator buckles can be a godsend, especially if you think you may remove the pouches at some point. Weaving those straps in can be a pain.

I think if you have a few extra pouches of various sizes, you will be surprised at how quickly you identify a need for them... If you look for a "dump pouch" or a "SAW pouch" you will find pouches of useful sizes and shapes that you can use for whatever, including the aforementioned "tactical snack dispenser."
