Can I get some recommendations on affordable 6" round LEDs? Planning to mount to the cowl/a pillar area. I love KC Hilites but I'm not spending $600+ on two lights

I got these on ebay.....

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Yellow-Len...e=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649

They come in clear as well. The guards come right off of them and stnadard KC soft covers slip on well. I can't attest to their brighntess while driving as I haven't installed them yet. I will almost assuradly be installing LED bulbs.

I agree the KC lighting prices are ridiculous. That's why I got these ebay lights and their covers. Happy with them. The light housings themselves are good quality. Good chrome, and are adjustable. KC wants 600 for a pair of lights with no soft covers? I did it for $60 with covers. If they offered their lights with a price starting with 1 instead of 6 I would have gone with them.

Good call!

I'm looking for clear and a non-chrome housing but I'll definitely do some eBay searching. Thanks!

Strong caution for: "you get what you pay for"

Still, you would be able to get quite a few sets of those before getting near the cost of the first.

Those were high on my list actually. Another Jeep had them and the 4"? They were bright as all get out and a much better price.
Yeah. I'm considering them. I did see a video that said they whistle when on the a pillar. Not sure if that's still true. May want to drop a message to quadratec and just clarify. Maybe that's an old version.

I'm going to have to say yes. I got the Mopar lights there and you can hear them. Not horrible but it's an added sound to the silence... :)

Ha. Yeah I'm sure any light has that potential when mounted there. To be fair, I just checked again and it was the 4" lights they were talking about. 6" may be different.

I found a set of PIAAs on eBay for a good price (close to the Quadratecs). Might end up going with them

I decided to go with these:
ARB 968CSG IPF 968 Series Auxiliary Driving Lighting Kit with Stone Guards
I wanted something decent to run in the morning when driving to work. I have Baja Design LP9's but they are just way too bright and it does nothing but piss people off.
Hopefully, these will do the trick.....
