Hey Gang,
Looks like i have a small leak out of my brake fluid reservoir: where the side hose goes onto the "spout". I dont know if there's a type of clamp that is not there anymore or what. When i compared to my wife's 2.0, her spout is capped and has no hose. Could someone with a 3.6 please post a pic of the brake reservoir, standing from the drivers side? I appreciate it!!

For reference, here’s the pic I’m looking for. I noticed the dripping coming out of the end of this black hose, that’s on the spout. Thanks!

Thanks for the reply and pic, Rob! I'm not familiar with the differences in mine. I'm a Rubicon and manual. If anyone can add, i would appreciate it. Until i know more, i'll just observe and maybe do a band-clamp.

Mine is similar to yours, but yours looks like it has split apart. 2018 Sport S, 3.6L, Manual.

Thank you for the pic and feedback. I didnt notice the split. I'll go back out and check it. It must be a "manual" thing. I appreciate it!

Yes, that line feeds your clutch cylinders. You won’t have s separate reservoir for you clutch master cylinder, it feeds off the brake reservoir.

Jlewissystem,

Thank you for your post!! This definitely helped me!! Yesterday (9/8/19) I found brake fluid leaking! Same issue! Just purchased my 2019 Jeep (manual 6 speed) in the beginning of August and made my first payment last week!! Took it to the dealer this morning! They are ordering and replacing the master cylinder due to it all being one piece. They told me They haven’t seen or heard of this beginning an issue. Thank you again for posting!! See my picture below.

Glad it was able to help! I just pushed the hose in more and have not had any other leakage. Maybe just a miss from the factory..?
