Exactly. I'm an old batard, so I'll do everything in the meantime that I can to make this motor last, but the day it starts to suck oil is the day that I start my 4.0 + MT build. I know I have one more engine build in me. I was hoping to save it for the 383 in the truck.

As for a gas gauge, seems to me there has to be an aftermarket stand alone unit that'll work off the signal of the sending unit.
I got super fancy and put a post-it on the black screen that says "feed me on friday". ?

It looks like authorized MOPAR parts dealers list several part numbers for these clusters. They all seem to be described as suitable for any of the 2018+ Jeeps.

The MOPAR Parts descriptions are vague and uninformative. The new stock OEM replacement instrument clusters vary in price from about $200 to $500.

I wonder how they differ?

I also wonder how Infotainment vendors are selling used examples of the same product for nearly $1000.

There are two basic models, the base Sport cluster with the 3.5 (?) inch monochrome display and the “technology package” cluster with the 7 inch full color display (not counting the 4Xe and iirc the 392 versions). There is also a core charge for the cluster that varies depending on model. If I recall correctly the core charge is $500 for the color cluster.

Just buy a used one and get the mileage corrected (or not) and plug it in. YMMV

Edit to add, you can even get a new lens if your is scratched.

I am not seeing any mention of a core charge. Pick one of the four instrument clusters, put it in your cart, and hit buy.

The $209 and $253 dollar versions are described as working in all the 2018+ Wranglers, the $429 and $511 versions are described as working in Rubicons.

In case it helps, 21 4xe FSM, but I'm assuming this is all of them since it has the 3.5":

0.00
Order By Vehicle Application.

7" Display
120 MPH Speedometer

Without Rubicon

Things may have changed last I looked was several years ago but the cheaper one is the 3.5 monochrome cluster. The more expensive one is the 7 inch full color one.

Look online for a Jeep with the cluster you want and copy the VIN and put that vin in the parts site and it will recommend the “right” cluster for you.

I just put one in the cart and went to checkout and it didn’t add a core charge so I guess that has changed. Message Benny @allmoparparts and ask him for help. He’s a great guy.

Thanks, I did not realize AllData included part numbers. That's some good news.

Thank you.

It has parts and labor (warranty and non warranty hours). A little hit or miss depending on system/part.
