I'm selling a Rancho RS7MT steering stabilizer. It has only a few hundred miles on it, and is in perfect condition. They sell for $85 new. I'm asking $45 to your door, if you live in the continental US. $30 for local pick up in North central PA.
My OEM steering stabilizer was showing its age and my Jeep had a little shimmy when I drove over certain road features. This steering stabilizer cured the shimmy. This stabilizer mounts in the OEM position.
What I didn't like about this stabilizer was it put a slight constant pressure in the steering. My Jeep would drive straight, but I had to keep my hand on the wheel. If I took my hand off the wheel, it would almost immediately start drifting to the right.
There's a lot of gas pressure in the shock, and I believed when compressed, for installation, it inputs a force into the steering system. I thought about mounting this with a relocation kit, but went a different direction, instead.
