I know there are several threads about misc. radio issues but I didn't find one that was specific to my issue so I apologize if this has been addressed before.
My 2019 Wrangler (purchased brand new in February 2000) has random issues with the radio receiving power. I turn on the Jeep, hit the power button, and NOTHING happens. Sometimes it will come back on if I power the Jeep off, let it sit, and power it back on. Sometimes that doesn't work. Additionally, the Bluetooth function for calls won't work, but the backup camera DOES work.
In the last year I've had the Jeep at the dealership no less than 5 times (and it's currently at the dealership). They've conducted software updates (twice), a hard reset, most recently replaced the radio with a refurbished unit - which I found out is there standard replacement, and now it's back at the dealership and they can't recreate the issue so they just want to give it back to me. I've called Jeep Wave and they open a case for me but I've gotten nowhere with that. At this point, the Jeep has been there for 4 days and they want to keep it over the weekend. I'm at my wits end and I don't see an end in sight. While a radio malfunction isn't a serious operating issue, it is a feature that I paid for and I expect to work on a BRAND NEW vehicle. I can't enjoy driving my Jeep on road trips in silence.
