Premium Soft Top extra flap

Could use a double check with someone else that has a Premium Soft Top.
I purchased a Mopar Premium Soft Top for my 2022 2 Door. After I got it on, there is an extra cloth flap toward the top rear of both the side windows. You can have this flap either inside or outside the Soft Top.
WHERE DOES IT GO? IN OR OUT? I’ve included two pictures so you can see it? First picture has it in and the second has it out.

My 4Dr has a flap on the inside and outside. With the windows in, I don't see how the inner flap could be outside.

It's on all soft tops, sailcloth or twill, two door or four door. Meant to go on the inside, another layer of protection from the elements.

JP29 and yourself answered my question. The extra flap on mine is only the rear 1/3 in length of the window. There is a space above that portion of the window that you can pull it in or out.
