Does anyone have a photo of a 10lb Power Tank mounted up on their Roll bar with the top off? Trying to figure out where to put the thing but not sure if I will like that look. I'd mount it in the back however that's full of Milwaukee packouts already lol.

Powertanks aren’t usually necessary for cruising around town and having one dangling there in the open top is making it a tempting target for thieves. So, I imagine it would likely only go on when you are going off-road. At that point how it looks likely won’t be as important as making it is secure and doesn’t come loose.

Looks are subjective but I ran one a few years ago and found it to be a secure way of transport.

I’m more concerned about its mount being an eyesore, I think I’m going to just buy a cargo rack for over the top of my packouts and mount it there less apt to smack it on something too.

If you have any thoughts what so ever about driving topless or not without the tank in the mount, completely disregard that thought. The noise created by the metal straps that hold the tank in the mount will drive you crazy.

However, with the tank in place they are silent.

Thank you for that, my jeep isn’t my daily driver and sits in the garage topless with halfdoors all summer long generally the only time I put the hard top on is if it’s going on the trailer to head wheeling far away.
