Kailani has the plastic bumper group.

I'm going to be acquiring the steel bumpers here within the next month. I'll be traveling about 4 hours (one way) to get them and am thinking about removing both bumpers at home, traveling there, then putting them on while there and just driving home.

Watching a video on swapping out and I see somethings I'll need:
Front:
4 Rivnuts.
The two brackets.
Possibly leaving LED fogs in the steel bumper, or needing a bracket to put the plastic fogs on the steel bumper.

Rear:
?
In my 2 minute Google search no videos popped up.

Now for my request: Does anyone know of things I'm missing from my list? Especially for the rear. From pictures it appears that this rear steelie has the proximity sensors.

Let me start with don’t plan on installing when picking up. Takes a little more time than you think. I assume based on your reference to Rivnuts your are getting the steel skid plate also? If you are here is list of items you will need. I ordered these parts from @AllMoparParts.com here on the forum.

The back bumper is not bad but hopefully you get nuts from the previous owner. If not you will need to source 4. I ended up getting new from ace hardware. Can’t remember size at the moment. Your plastic bumper has bolts that go through frame into plastic bumper - steel bumper has bolts attached that go through your frame and require the nuts I am referencing. The other little tricky part is there is a couple of Rivnuts required in bottom of steel bumper. If you have trailer hitch not sure if this changes. You already have a Rubicon so should not require anything for rear flares filler panels.

So for the LED fogs. If you do not receive with bumper you can buy a cheap bracket on amazon to will allow you to adapt from plastic bumper.

That is all I can think of at the moment.

Hope you can get answers soon, though you might regret trying to do it before you get home. I plan on swapping the front but not the rear.
TrailRecon on YouTube has a plastic to steel swap Install video on his wife’s yella 2-door that may have the answers you seek.

Thank uou for the intel.

I did see TrailRecon's video, that's how i learned about the rivnuts.

But there is very little info about the rear, so thank you.

In fact, thank you in general. Truly.

When you order the bumper and skid plate from a mopar parts supplier, these parts on your list are not included?
