So I upgraded my draglink and track bar to the steersmarts ones, im trying to find out if my pitman is loose from the steering box or dropped from steering box? Does anyone have a picture of the way the pitman arm is supposed to look on the steering box itself? Thank you

Not sure I see an issue. Why you think there is an issue. I notice you still have aluminum steering box not the newer cast iron.

Just looked like it was separated from the box and my dealer said he would have to recreate the issue for the tsb and I didn't want them to have my jeep for days on end, plus the dealership is a bunch of morons in the service center

I see the horror stories on certain dealers. I got my TSB scheduled early on (second one at dealer), and told them was not leaving and clearly the TSB stated didn’t have to. They ordered and completed even though mine was lifted (Mopar Lift), aftermarket TB and 37s. Only thing that seems to be consistent with everyone is none of the bolts were torqued properly.

With the Jeep off and the steering wheel unlocked have someone else crank the wheel back and forth from 11:30 to 12:30. Just enough to change directions. Get under there and watch the pitman arm. If it is loose on the splines you will see it moving. You can put your fingers on the pitman arm and sometimes feel it.

If it is loose... you'll know it.
