Has anyone tried them for an AT type tire on anything? Have you seen a review? I’ve not found anything yet. Seeing as the M/T is popular, maybe it’s worth considering the AT.

Since the price is lower, it wouldn’t bother me to replace them sooner than later if we don’t care for them. If we like them, we’ll have a little more money for other things. If I need to go more mainstream, there’s plenty of options in the $250/ea range.

Most of our trips this year are going to be in NC, the UP, and Rockies NW region including Magruder Corridor where I wondered if the Pat M/T could be of benefit. Likely some mud the UP. NC, possibly mud too but I go around if possible. Lots of asphalt in between and a semi daily commuter too.

@DadJokes - Sounds like you have situations that you are on the highway/daily driver and need a bit of comfort, but also situations that require traction. This is a perfect example of the All-Terrain market.

Tires are a product of compromise, no tire can score 5 out of 5 in all performance attributes. Milestar took their extremely popular M/T and adapted the compounds and tread design for the new X/T. Less designed for mud and more street friendly attributes along with now having a mileage warranty. The only down side right now is that because its new there are not many size options available.

I only need that 275/70/18 so that size is where I’ve settled E load or not.

According to Milestar these are going to be coming out in more sizes this year. A 40x13.50 is in the works. I'm pretty excited for that.

I've had three sets of the MTs 38s and 40s. No complaints.

I'm leaning towards trying a set when the 40s come out. Based on my experience with the MT, I see no reason not to try the XT.
