A hearty 'Hand Salute' to all active United States Service Members currently engaged in Operation Epic Fury.
I also want to recognize the sacrifice the families make while loved ones are deployed during the conflict.

God Speed & Safe Return.

Hell, yea. I was of fighting age when they started this 47 years ago, but the draft had already been cancelled so I started making babies.

I’m happy to pay a little extra for gas to turn their regime into a pile of rubble and free the people.

I'm still waiting to see what details will be release surrounding the KC-130 going down as well as the one F-35 that was hit by some sort of Iranian fire. That pilot was actually injured and in stable condition but was able to land the aircraft safely.

I didn’t hear about a KC-130 going down but did hear about the KC-135 that went down because of a midair collision.

Same incident, I got my nomenclature wrong. I presumed it was a mid air collision but all I have come across is "no details have been released" The only other real option would have been mechanical malfunction since enemy and friendly fire were stated to not have been involved.

It was definitely a midair collision but they haven’t released the details on how it happened. This is a picture that shows the damage to the KC-135 involved in the collision that landed safely.

From what I have read on the F35 it was damaged by a 358-SA65 heat seeking missile (infrared) which stealth doesn’t prevent, stealth is radar based.
