It is correct. According to my dealer they will ship with one fob and at a future date they will supply the second fob once the shortage is past.

Just remember this is from a company that has about a 50% success rate at sending out a welcome package with a bottle of touch up paint to their customers.

Build made that one by just a week. Those are going to be some IOU's to old on too.

What bottle of touch up paint and welcome package are you talking about? I've bought 5 new fca vehicles in the past ten years and this is the first i've ever heard of this.

Exactly! When I first bought my JL they promised it, I even got an email saying to expect it, people were all over this forum talking about it, many (myself included) never received them. I don't really care but I certainly wouldn't trust a key fob IOU from them.

My 392 had an estimated ship date of 4/13. For all I know it’s still in D1. Guess I’ll be getting one fob and an IOU ?

I picked up my Jeep today and my dealer said I was lucky that I got 2 keys.

Do you think that is a dealer program? The failure rate sounds like a local thing rather than FCA.

No, too many people from all over were getting them, I think it was under the Jeep Wave program but I'm not 100% sure.

I just got the build sheet today on my order placed 3/29, nowhere on the build sheet or POC does it indicate 'one key fob' like that example. Maybe Ill be lucky and get both fobs up front... we'll have to see when it arrives
